Thrift Store

 

The Bowden Historical Society runs a Thrift Store at the south end of the Bowden Museum.

The Thrift Store is open Wednesday and Friday, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Thrift Store is open year round, however it is closed between the middle of December and the middle of January.

For the Thrift Store, please use the south entrance to the museum.

 

 

Items For Sale

A wide selection of gently used clothing, toys, puzzles, games and VHS movies are available with prices starting at 25.

All proceeds go the Bowden Pioneer Museum and the Historical St. Matthew's Anglican Church and are used for care and upkeep. You can find great deals and support the preservation of local history at the same time.

 

 

Donations

If you have new or gently used items like clothing, toys or games you wish to donate, bring them to the Bowden Thrift Store. All donations will be sold at the Thrift Store and proceeds help support the Bowden Pioneer Museum.

To donate items simply bring them to the Thrift Store when it is open, Wednesday and Friday, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please do not leave items by the door. The Thrift Store does not accept electronics, large furniture, cribs, car seats or appliances.

 

 

Garage Sales

The Bowden Thrift Store holds a Garage Sale the last Friday and Saturday of each month from April to November. Garage Sales are held at the Anglican Church Hall on the corner of 22nd Street and 20th Avenue.

New and used items of all sorts are sold at the Garage Sales. You never know what will be for sale. Toys, glassware and records are always available. Prices start at 25.
